Describe yourself in three words.
Wife. Mother. Church Planter.
What inspires you and why?
Seeing others reach their hopes and dreams really inspires me. Being part of the journey or the process of change gives me the motivation to keep going and not give up when things get hard. That’s how it is with church planting. It’s easy to get side-tracked or feel uninspired when challenges arise. I’m also inspired by other’s who make the choice not to give up.
You have your entire family sitting around the table, what does the discussion and interaction look like?
Well, my husband and I have two small children. One is two and a half, and the other is six years old. They are both hilarious, and they know it! So, when we sit down for dinner, it’s full of laughter, silly faces, and bargaining of who’s going to eat all their vegetables. We try to incorporate humor and giggles to help offset the seriousness of life. I’m thankful to have a family that loves being silly.
How would you describe your hopes and desires for your life and/or a testimony of God’s faithfulness in your life?
In all that I do, how I’ve lived and will continue to live this life is what matters most to me. I want to leave a legacy of compassion, grace, and inspiration. When I think of the people that inspired me most, it was women and men who didn’t let anything stop them from achieving their dreams. It was women and men who were successful and succeeded with integrity. That’s my hope for my life.
