NEW ARC WOMEN SITE NOW LIVE

August 18 2011

We are so excited to announce the launch of the new, fully functioning ARC Women web site. This site is a hub for you to connect with other women in ARC who are serving in leadership and ministry in some capacity. One of the main reasons that ministries suffer and sometime fail to thrive is isolation. A lack of support and connection is one of the most difficult aspects of being in ministry. I am so thankful that we no longer have to navigate ministry ill-equipped and alone.

Our motto at ARC Women is, “Connect, equip, and inspire.” That’s what we hope to do through this ministry.

CONNECT: The main vehicle for consistent connection is Virtual Community Groups, or VCGs.  These groups of 10 or fewer women take place online via video conferencing and high speed internet.  Don’t let the techy stuff intimidate you. You will learn it in no time – -and you will be glad you did! We also plan to host regional gatherings.  VCGs are just one of the ways you can get connected to other women in ministry as well as connecting with ARC Women via twitter and facebook.

EQUIP: Although ministry is primarily relational, it also has a “Nut-and-bolts” component.  We all want to know how to do life and ministry better.  ARC Women hopes to be a resource to women in ministry by providing a space to share ideas on everything from ministry leadership to managing life and family.   This blog is one of the main ways we do this.  We would love to know which issues you are passionate or curious about so we can talk about them together.

INSPIRE: It’s been said that you can’t give what you don’t have.  It’s so important to take time to fill ourselves spiritually so that we can pour back out to those we minister to. Our hope is that the devotionals and messages you will find on this site will fill you up and inspire you to run your race well.

So keep your eyes on this spot. There is more to come for ARC Women and we definitely want you along for the ride!

Love,
Kerri and the ARC Women Team
