Many pastors tend to focus on delivering an effective message to the adult congregation rather than an effective message to the entire congregation, children’s ministry included. Great leadership is required in all areas of the church in order for the church to grow. In this article, Dale Hudson challenges children’s ministry leaders to continue to learn and grow to be a better pastor. He describes some of the differences between a good children’s ministry leader and a great one, and while this article is mainly directed to children’s ministry, it can be applied to any pastoral role.
