Global Teen Challenge
Global Teen Challenge exists to mobilize the Gospel until all live free.
Right now, there are an estimated 500 million individuals struggling with substance abuse across the globe.
As a Great Commission Ministry, the heartbeat of our mission is to ensure that every man, woman, and teen suffering from the effects of substance abuse is able to find freedom and healing through a relationship with Christ.
For over 30 years, Brice Maddock has felt called to give hope and encouragement to those struggling with addiction. His time with Teen Challenge began in 1994, when he and his wife started volunteering in college. They were inspired by the testimonies and passion of the students they encountered.
Early in their ministry, Brice and his family launched and developed a Teen Challenge program for at-risk teens. They later served in Southern Asia — most notably in India, where they pioneered a Community Transformation Program in the heart of a major slum. More than a decade later, that program continues to reach hundreds of people every day. Brice also served as the Eurasia Regional Director for Global Teen Challenge, overseeing Teen Challenge operations across 38 nations.
In January 2023, Brice was asked to assume the position of President/CEO of Global Teen Challenge. He has also served in leadership with Teen Challenge of the Southeast Region for the past nine years, including six years as President/CEO, stewarding 350 team members and overseeing 22 campuses in seven states, as well as eight thrift stores. Because of his passion for global missions, he has also led the region in strategically planting Teen Challenges abroad.
Brice has been an ordained minister for over 25 years and holds a BS in Theology/Missions, an MA in Theology, and an MS in Psychology.
He has a passion for family and has been married to his high school sweetheart for 32 years. They have three amazing children, two stellar sons-in-law, and two wonderful granddaughters. Besides spending time with his growing family, Brice is refreshed by enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
