We Don’t Quit

I hope you are doing well during this unique and challenging season. I have never been more grateful or proud of the ARC Family and how you have cared for one another and spurred one another on to good deeds during this time.
A few observations:
God has been faithful. Many of you have relayed to me how God has miraculously met your needs and the needs of your church during this season. None of us saw this coming during our “2020 vision” sermons at the beginning of the year. We could never have predicted what we’ve come through, and we certainly couldn’t have predicted how God has provided. God has been faithful.
We need each other now more than ever before. I’ve heard so many examples of how you have leaned into each other and the resources provided by the team at ARC. We have lived out the value of Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 weekly: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
The best is yet to come. I know that can sound cliché, but I really do believe it. God is pruning his church. What does that mean? What gets pruned blooms brighter and better in the next season. What we can’t understand today will be revealed in great glory tomorrow. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NIV
The greatest harvest that the church has seen is just around the corner. Don’t quit! We love you and are cheering you on.
